1st Place Award Winning Designer
Richard grew up in an enormous flower nursery by the name of Summit Gardens in Erie, Pennsylvania.
He bought his first flower shop when he was only 25 years old and within five years had opened his second shop.
He won first place in the Tri-State Floral Competition in Pennsylvania in three categories (novelty, one-of-a kind and holiday).
After 17 years he move to the West, opened the Bellagio Resort and made the stage arrangements for Andrea Bocelli's New Year's Eve Concert. As Operation Designer he did the Conservatory, lobby, wedding chapel and all the restaurants fresh floral designs for Bellagio, Mirage, Treasure Island and Golden Nugget Hotels.
He competed in the FTD 2000 Las Vegas Convention and won 1st Place in that competition.
He then worked as a Concierge for two 5 Stars 5 Diamonds Resorts and learned the ins and outs of fabulous Las Vegas. He's returned to the job he loves and offers his services making fresh flower designs for weddings, banquets, parties, special occasions and corporate events. Other specialties include gourmet gift baskets and silk designs.
